The Phil Deck offers a fun, surprising twist on the classic “thought-of card” routine, no sleight of hand or tricky forces involved. A spectator is asked to think of any card in the deck. Instead of naming the card directly, the magician announces, “The name of your card is Phil.”

The deck is spread to show a different name printed boldly on the back of every single card. When the spectator's thought-of card is found, it's the only one named Phil. The rest? All completely different.
